Means of Alleviation the Negative Effects of Summer Heat Stress on Animals

In tropical and subtrobical countries, climatic characteristic is the major constraint on animal productivity. Growth, milk production and reproduction are impaired as a result of the drastic changes in biological functions caused by heat stress Reduction of heat stress syndrome during hot summer season can be reduced or even eliminate those losses in farm animals. The process of minimizing or reducing these effects is called amelioration process. Amelioration of heat stress in heat stressed animals to improve its productivity has been attempted using different techniques including physical, nutritional and physiological means.
